Eclipse scores big
in cancer fund-raiser
Eclipse Soccer Club players did
more than just turn Lost Creek Park pink in October … they helped raise
$6,772 for breast cancer support programs during the unique Score for
the Cause fund-raiser. The money came from the sale of pink Score
for the Cause T-shirts as well as parent and team donations for goals
scored during matches held in October.
The
funds will be used for breast cancer support and awareness programs for
women in need, administered by Fort Bend Junior Service League and
Eclipse sponsor Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. And all monies raised
will be used right here in Fort Bend County. Eclipse Soccer Club thanks
all the players, parents, team managers, volunteers and others who
helped make the inaugural Score for the Cause a real success. Your
generosity is appreciated!
